Tour of St. Stephen's Castle Chapel

The castle chapel of St. Stephan in Morter, the Sistine Chapel of Val Venosta as it is also known, dates back to 1487 and is certainly one of the most beautiful churches in South Tyrol. The chapel is located below the Obermontani castle. Although the church may appear simple and modest from the outside, the magnificent frescoes inside are an absolute must-see for art and culture lovers.

Open every Friday and Saturday from 2.30pm-5.30pm from April to the end of October. Admission: €5.00 p.p.

On foot from Amolaris in approx. 50 minutes via Untermontani and Obermontani.
