Christmas Concert: 3 Tenors from the Innviertel

Christmas Concert: The 3 Innviertler Tenors

December 6, 2026, 8:00 p.m., Mariazell Basilica

With the 3 Innviertler Tenors—Gerhard Reiterer, Daniel Strasser, and Harald Wurmsdobler—the audience can look forward to a powerful vocal concert experience full of musical passion, humor, and charm. The three singers, who hail from Upper Austria, share a long artistic history together that began during their student days and continues to this day on concert stages across Austria.

Their musical journeys have taken the artists to renowned institutions such as the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Volksoper, as well as to numerous concert and opera productions throughout the German-speaking world. This extensive stage experience shapes their distinctive ensemble sound as much as their personal connection to the Austrian musical tradition.

The three tenors’ repertoire ranges from classical arias and operetta melodies to well-known Austrian songs and popular Christmas tunes—always interpreted with vocal expressiveness, musical quality, and a touch of playfulness. They combine virtuoso singing with entertaining commentary, creating a special connection with the audience.

Look forward to a varied concert evening featuring powerful voices, familiar melodies, and authentic Austrian vocal culture—festive, moving, and humorous all at once.
