International Museum Day

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, International Museum Day will also be celebrated in South Tyrol. The aim of this worldwide initiative is to highlight the thematic diversity of museums and emphasize their fundamental role in cultural and social life. The event is organized annually by ICOM. This year’s motto is: “Museums unite a divided world”. The LUMEN Museum at the summit of the Kronplatz also warmly invites visitors to discover its rarities.

On this day, the entry to the LUMEN Museum is free.
