Summit hike on the Trisselwand 1.754m

The Trisselwand is a 1,754-meter-high mountain in the Totes Gebirge.

With its imposing, steeply sloping rock faces, the Trisselwand forms the dominant backdrop to Lake Altaussee and is one of the most beautiful and well-known peaks in the region. A rock face approximately 600 m high that plunges into Lake Altaussee is what makes this mountain so striking. The ascent and descent follow a moderate trail. This trail follows a steadily ascending route along the ridgeline between Lake Grundlsee and Lake Altausseer all the way to the high plateau. Although we follow the same route both on the way there and back, there are various outstanding views of the stunning mountain scenery of the Ausseer region.
