Col dala Pieres and Langental

Circular hike in the Puez Geisler National Park in the Dolomites, surrounded by the impressive backdrop of these bizarre rock formations. Varied path with loopholes, narrow climbs, forest paths and alpine paths. All of the above.

Directions:

From the Daunei parking lot above Selva Gardena, follow trail 17A to the Stevia Hut at 2,312 meters. Shortly after the hut turn left and follow path no. 17 towards Furcella dla Piza. At the fork, turn right and continue following path 17. Before reaching the summit of Col dala Pieres there is a short steep section that requires adequate surefootedness. However, this section is well secured and can be easily mastered even without via ferrata equipment. The way back is made by Col Raiser cable car, which is used for the return trip.
