Red Bull - Hangar 7 Aircraft Museum

Airplanes are an impressive wonder of technology. Anyone interested in the flying objects should visit Hangar-7. The aircraft museum is located next to the Salzburg airport.

The Flying Bulls, a private fleet of aircraft, created the aircraft museum and also helped design the building. It shines in unique architecture made of glass and its shape is reminiscent of a wing. The exhibits include numerous historic aircraft as well as helicopters, which are beautifully staged in the hangar. In addition to the aircraft exhibition, Hangar-7 regularly hosts art exhibitions. The aircraft museum in Salzburg also has a restaurant, the Ikarus. The concept is special and ingenious at the same time: every month, a different star chef cooks for the guests here. The chefs come from all over the world and conjure up gourmet dishes on your plates. The Ikarus restaurant is the culinary highlight of a visit to Hangar-7.
