Guided tour through the Lataria Sent

Lataria Sent is part of the Alp- und Sennereigenossenschaft Sent. The cooperative consists of all milk-producing farmers in Sent.

Our cooperative operates the Lataria, which consists of a milk collection point, cheese dairy and store. The dairy farms in Sent produce around 1.3 million kilograms of milk. Some of this milk is used in our small cheese dairy to make high-quality products such as Sentiner, Mutschli, Albin, yoghurt, etc.

In summer, the cooperative runs the Fenga young cattle farm and the Telf/Spadla and Alp Prà San Flurin dairy cow farms. The milk from Alp Prà San Flurin is processed into cheese and butter. These top-quality alpine products are available in our store from late summer until well into winter.

The milk from the Telf/Spadla alp is transported directly from the alp to the cheese dairy in Lataria via a milk pipeline. The processing of the alpine milk makes the already high-quality products even more special and flavorful.
