Details

The nearly square, 15-meter-high observation tower has three stories. It was built of larch wood and opened in 2013. The climb to the top of the observation tower is definitely worth it for a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Ausseer Land region, as well as the mountains of the Enns Valley, the Dachstein, and the Totes Gebirge.

Access is via a steep but easily navigable trail. The descent follows the same path and ends at the Tressensattel.

A short but impressive hike with an extraordinary view.
