Fireplace

IMPORTANT: follow all the steps in sequence before you light the fireplace

1.    Open the air inlet slats (on the wall on the terrace):

Pull down the lever marked in red in the 2nd picture so that the air inlet slats are fully open. Pull down the lever marked in red in the 2nd picture so that the slats for the air intake, which is located to the right of the fireplace on the balcony, are fully open.    Open the smoke outlet flap on the fireplace:

Turn the S-shaped handle on the smoke outlet flap to the right to open it, see Fig. 3

3.    Air inlet on the fireplace glazing remains closed:

4.     Set the fan/air extractor in the kitchen to OFF:

Before the fireplace fire is lit, the smoke extractor in the kitchen above the hotplates must be switched off so that no negative pressure is created.

After use:

- Cleaning: After the fireplace fire has gone out completely and the ashes have cooled down completely, the ashes must be removed from the fireplace the following day and disposed of in a chargeable waste bag. 

- Close the smoke outlet flap:

Turn the smoke outlet flap (fig. 3) back to the left to the original position
