Challenging bike tour for experienced cyclists

Our marathon tour

From the hotel, the route leads along the road towards Hintertux (the road is better for saving batteries than the stream path). From there, head towards Sommerberg via the Bichlalm, where you can take a short break and recharge your batteries if necessary. From the Bichlalm, the tour continues towards the Tuxerjochhaus, past the reservoir via the single trail on the Tuxerjoch to Kasern in the Schmirntal (there are no more charging stations here).

Prerequisites: challenging tour for advanced riders, good previous mountain bike knowledge and safe downhill technique. ‼️Nicht suitable for beginners.

↔ Kilometres: approx. 44 km

🏔️↑ Elevation gain: approx. 1700m

🚴🚴🚴 Character: difficult

Trail conditions: asphalt, mainly gravel, single trail

Equipment: A change of T-shirt, water bottle, sun protection, rain/wind jacket, snack, cash for a possible refreshment stop.
