A very special Christmas market takes place in Hauzenberg, Bavaria. Granite Christmas is celebrated here in the unique ambience of an old quarry. The Christmas market in the quarry awaits you. On offer are handicrafts from the Bavarian Forest, the Mühlviertel and southern Bohemia, as well as special gifts made of stone, wood, glass, linen, wool, straw and wax. The demonstrations of traditional handicraft techniques are particularly popular. Culinary specialties from our three-country region are available for your physical well-being. The Granite Christmas is rounded off with a cinema on the rock face and the illuminated quarry.
