The pilgrimage church of Unser Frau stands powerfully and majestically atop its rock. It serves as the starting point for the approximately 2.5-hour hike. The trail leads along the Via Monachorum, past the Schnals Primordial Larch, the waterfall, and fresh mountain springs, all the way to the former Allerengelberg Carthusian monastery in Karthaus. And there? Silence. Experience just how soothing silence can be. After consciously taking in the silence, you’ll be guided through the “Village of Silence” and the former monastery complex of the Carthusian monks.
