Carnival tournament - for non-riders & advanced riders

On February 9, 2024, the Dagnhof will host the 1st carnival skill tournament will take place - with disguised horses, of course!

There are 2 groups at the fun and colorful skill tournament:

Beginners' group: anyone can take part here, even just for fun, so girls, pack your dad, your mom, your friends! The more, the merrier! A playful skill course with approx. 8 stations will be set up. Each team consists of 2 people, one sits on the horse and one tackles the course on foot. Either a third person in your team or one of us leads the horse through the course. At the end of the course, both have to solve a task together - there will be a fixed target time for the course, whoever is closest to this time wins.

1st prize: trophy, ribbon and choice between pony riding, beginners' lunge or carriage ride

Advanced group: this competition is for riders who already ride in a group. They ride the same course as the beginners, but WITHOUT someone leading the horse, so riding skills are required here! :-)

The target time also applies here.

The official start of the skills competition is at 14:30, anyone who wants to help with the preparation of the horses is welcome to come from 12:00.

Advanced riders will have the opportunity to take part in the show jumping competition from around 5 pm. The highest jumps are 80 cm and judging is by time.

COSTUME COMPULSORY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS!

Participation with your own horse is also possible - boxes are available.

Entry fee per team for the skills course: 30,- EUR incl. two mulled wines/punch and two carnival doughnuts.

Entry fee per show jumper: 20,- EUR incl. one mulled wine/punch and one carnival doughnut.

Entry fee for 2 tournaments: 40,- EUR incl. three mulled wine/punch and three carnival doughnuts.
