Pleasantly climb a peak with an e-mountain bike, with your own muscle power or by bike and hike. In Tux-Finkenberg there is everything. Here you will find numerous routes in and around the communities of Tux-Finkenberg in a wide variety of difficulty levels:
Finkenberg - Hintertux - Bichlalm
On this mountain bike route you will overcome 805 meters in altitude. The route is especially suitable for beginners and families, 16 km long and the ride takes about 2.5 hours. Part of the route is covered on the provincial road, so a good physical condition is important here. You will be rewarded with an impressive panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
Description:
From the village center of Finkenberg, the route follows the paved L6, the Tuxer Landesstraße, in several hairpin bends and a slight incline to Hintertux. From there, it's a well-maintained gravel road to the Jausenstation Bichlalm, where regional specialties await the bikers.

Impressive, but in the upper part also quite steep side trip to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Tuxertal. From Hintertux over a good gravel road to the snack station Bichlalm. In the valley further crossing the Weitentalbach and climbing through beautiful larch forest to the Sommerbergalm. From there continue in several hairpin bends to the Tuxerjochhaus.
NEW: From the Tuxerjoch you can continue over several serpentines in the direction of Schmirn/Kasern.

E-MOUNTAINBIKING
Enjoy the impressive nature actively! With the e-mountain bikes you jet through the entire Tuxertal in an environmentally friendly way. Completely without sweating, you can explore the valley and have more breath to marvel at the mountain panorama! Should the battery ever run out, you will find numerous e-bike charging stations spread throughout the valley.
Particularly popular: Bike & Hike - with the e-mountain bike, you first take a leisurely ride up to the alpine pasture and then continue in your hiking boots to the top of the mountain peak - a perfect combination. The idea behind it: the long forest road is comfortably overcome with the e-mountain bike and the last climb to the mountain peak is done on foot. After a unique summit experience, it's back to the valley in comfort on the e-mountain bike.
Bike & Hike Grüblspitze
From the Eggalm mountain station, follow the "Bike & Hike Grüblspitze" signs until you reach the Bike & Hike parking lot.
From the Bike & Hike parking lot, follow the path in the direction of the Grüblspitze summit cross. From there you then have the option to continue hiking in the direction of Stoankasern or Ramsjoch and the Torseen lakes.

Bike & Hike Junssee/Junsjoch
From the mountain cheese dairy Stoankasern follow the MTB route "Bike & Hike Junssee Junsjoch" until the next fork. Should you want to continue hiking to the Junssee, then go straight on until you reach the mountain bike parking area. However, if you want to climb the Junsjoch, turn left at the junction and follow this to the next mountain bike parking area.
a) Junsjoch: The path 322 leads to the Junsjoch. Follow it until you reach the summit cross.
b) Junssee: Trail no. 35 leads, ascending over the Toten Böden to the Junssee. The Junssee is the highest mountain lake and only ice-free in high summer.
