Be part of the premiere at the Belchenhotel! From November 18-20, 2024, we are offering a three-day compact meditation course including a cocoa ceremony by and with Anja Ulrich for the first time.

Meditation can be countless things - but in its essence it is always one thing

Numerous meditation techniques offer individual access to gain initial insights and an idea of what the goal of meditation is. Ultimately, the experience of deep meditation can be described as little as the taste of rosemary, for example, if you don't know it. It is always just an attempt to create an approximate picture of it with examples.

Over the years, I have found my way to meditation and have been able to experience some very deep states of meditation. Classically, the path in yoga philosophy is first via the body through yoga exercises - then breathing through breathing exercises - to meditation...

... and the highest goal would then be enlightenment. Whatever is understood by enlightenment. In Buddhism it is enlightenment, in Christianity it is salvation, according to Aristotle it is happiness, in Islam it is entering paradise and so on. And if we ask ourselves, without any philosophy or religion, what is the highest goal for me? Then the beginnings of meditation can be helpful in answering this question.

Back to the classical path of yoga. That was also my path for many years. First of all, to arrive more in the body, then to cultivate breathing more and more and then the supreme discipline of meditation. I would now like to shorten this path as much as possible with this workshop.

The first unit will focus on

a brief outline of what meditation is and what it is not and what benefits you can derive from it

Introduction to finding your sitting posture in meditation with explanations using the skeleton to create a clearer picture of a relaxed sitting posture

In the second and third sessions, the breath is given a little more attention and we support the meditation with a cacao ceremony

get to know a breathing technique that makes the breath more even-tempered

The class will be structured in this way in all 3 sessions:

Information phase about the respective focus

Start with a light yoga sequence aimed at preparing the body for the seated posture

Meditation with the respective focus of the class

Time for questions, exchange and sharing of experiences in the group, whoever would like to do so

The aim of this course is to

Access and strengthen your intention

Insights and perhaps even deeper experiences of the feeling of resting within yourself

Motivation and inspiration for your own meditation to make it a daily routine

Recognizing the added value of a meditation practice
