The Rough Nights are a mystical time between Christmas and Epiphany (December 24 to January 6) that is deeply rooted in ancient customs and traditions. Each of the twelve nights symbolizes a month of the coming year. Traditionally, they are used to pause, say goodbye to the old year and welcome in the new. During this time, the boundaries between the worlds are said to be thinner, which makes rituals such as incense burning, oracles and prayers for protection particularly powerful. It is a period of cleansing, reflection and new beginnings, where you can set the course for a happy and fulfilling new year.
In our little workshop, we will take some time together to write our 13 wishes for the new year on 13 little pieces of paper. You do this for yourself and in private. What are your wishes for the coming year? We'll give you a little bag and you can then burn a piece of paper every night until January 6th. At the end, one piece of paper will be left over, this is the wish you will take care of yourself in the coming year. Allow yourself the time for your own personal reflection and reorientation. Register at reception.
