Reiki comes from the Japanese, "rei"= spirit/soul, "ki"= energy.

Reiki is about directing the life energies to feel more resilience on the outside, more well-being on the inside and to release blockages.

The Reiki energy is always clearly noticeable to me, sometimes it is more of a pulsing, sometimes a flowing. The energy is channeled, focused and passed on. During Reiki, the recipient of the treatment is fully clothed and lies quietly and well covered (it should be comfortably warm) relaxed on a couch.
