Guided tour through the 700-year history of the Niedereben organic farm, followed by a tasting of the farm's own products.
On the Nörderberg, on a hill of 634 meters, lies the Niederebenhof. Favored by the advantages of the climate, olives, wine and cacti thrive here. The Hofer family supplies its fruit and vegetables to the local organic specialist trade (Biokistl) and sells various self-produced organic products typical of South Tyrol in its own farm store.
Cows, pigs, quails, ducks, geese, rooster and hens feel very comfortable on the farm. During the introduction to the long history of the farm, insight is given into animal husbandry and viticulture on the Vinschgau Nörderberg and the path from the first olives to the farm's own olive oil is shown.
The following products can be purchased directly in the farm's own store: Speck, salami, Kaminwurzen, cooked herb ham, Coppa, farmhouse bacon, fruit and vegetables depending on the season and in the autumn months sweet chestnuts and pumpkins, apple juice and Vernatsch.
