San Juan Brewfest

The San Juan Brewfest is the biggest and best beer-tasting festival in the Four Corners. It typically features up to 35 breweries, over 100 beers to taste, live music, and benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado. It is always held on the weekend before Labor Day weekend in Downtown Durango at Buckley Park. Tickets go on sale June 1, and ticket options include a VIP ticket, a General Admission ticket, and a Designated Driver ticket. Prices range from $25 to $85.
The Brewfest was born at Purgatory Resort in 1998, so is in its 24th year in 2023. It was held at the ski resort through 2007, and in 2008 moved to Downtown Durango where it became a fundraiser for our local United Way. Over the past 15 years, the event has grown from 300 attendees and 15 breweries to 2,000 attendees and nearly 40 breweries.
