From the easy hike to the reservoir to the high-altitude trail in Tannheim

Route description:

The trail starts at the mountain station of the Neunerköpfle 8-seater gondola lift in Tannheim. Depending on your speed and the time spent at the stations, you should allow approx. 1 - 1.5 hours. If you still have enough energy, take a short detour to the summit of the Neunerköpfle: There, in summer and winter, an entry in the largest summit book in the Alps awaits.

The trail can be hiked daily in all weathers and is also well maintained in winter.

Short walk across the reservoir to Schattwald

The short walk starts directly at the hotel and leads you in the direction of Vilstal - once in Vilstal, a romantic forest path leads towards the Schattwald reservoir and across the fields back to the hotel. We will be happy to help you with any further questions. (In winter only accessible when there is little snow or the path is not cleared!!!)
