Hike to the Garnet Chapel on the Penken

You start your hiking day today directly from the hotel and walk to the Penkenbahn valley station. From the Penkenbahn mountain station, you follow the panoramic circular trail for approx. 1.5 hours to the wonderfully situated mountain lake on the Finkenberg. Enjoy the fantastic scenery of the Zillertal mountains and visit the Garnet Chapel designed by architect Mario Botta. After a short stop for refreshments, you return to the hotel to relax your tired hiking legs. Hiking poles and rucksacks can be borrowed from reception in the Sky Atrium. Please take enough water and a little money with you for the refreshment stop and make sure you are dressed appropriately.
