Panoramic hike in the Salzburg Slate Alps. This easy to moderately difficult tour near St. Johann im Pongau leads to the Rettenebenalm and from there to the Hochglocker (1,590 m).

Once you reach the summit cross, the deckchairs are already waiting for you to take a break and enjoy the magnificent view. All in all, a worthwhile tour in the Salzburger Sportwelt.

The starting point of the hike is the Arlberg parking lot. From there, it is a 30-45 minute walk to the Rettenebenalm. From the alpine pasture, you hike uphill towards the Hochglocker, which can be reached in a good 1:30 hours. The way back follows the same route.

The tour ends at the Rettenebenalm parking lot, where you can be picked up again on request.
