Visit to the Dornier Museum

The aerospace world of experience for young and old.

The technology museum that documents the pioneering work of aircraft designer Claude Dornier (1884-1969) and the Friedrichshafen-based company Dornier-Werke. The initiator is Claude Dornier's third son Silvius Dornier, and the sponsor is the Dornier Foundation for Aerospace.

Since 2005, the museum has collected numerous Dornier aircraft, models and other exhibits, which have been presented since the opening in 2009 in a modern museum building with a large landscaped park directly at Friedrichshafen Airport. The museum covers the history of the company, production facilities and aircraft models, including the giant Dornier Do X aircraft.
