Summit hike to the Einstein
The tour from the village of Tannheim up the Einstein is a popular half-day tour. As its name suggests, the Einstein is separated from its neighboring mountains by deep incisions. This gives us a fantastic view of the surrounding peaks and valleys.
Leisurely hike to the Schönkahler
Enjoy the view of the Tannheimer Tal. There is always a beautiful view on this hike. Passing the Berghotel Zugspitzblick, you enter a forest where nature is completely untouched. The route to Schönkahler is less frequented, where you will find peace and quiet and can forget everyday life for a short while. Please note that the tour can be started directly from the hotel - we will be happy to help you at reception.
Cycling tour tip - Vilstalrunde
The Vils Valley is car-free from the Vilstalsäge inn onwards and the cycle path runs idyllically along the babbling Vils. At Alpe Kalbelehof, the narrow Vils valley opens up and from here you are accompanied by the tinkling of cowbells through the alpine meadows. The paths are all car-friendly and gravel or tarred. Refreshment stops at the original alpine huts round off the nature experience perfectly.
