The trail section extends from the Naturhotel Gut Berg (former Hotel Alpenhof) to the Jugendgästehaus Weitenmoos and features an educational tree trail. This trail presents the different tree species with the help of descriptive panels, which give the hiker information about the occurrence, the use of the wood, the fruits of the trees and much more. In addition, there is general information about the tree population in Austria.

The tree trail is equipped with a wood identification station, a

"treetop mirror" and a "tree hugging station". There is also a rest area with wooden sunshades and relaxation loungers. It is particularly noteworthy that on this short section of the Alpendorf Panorama Trail, the entire tree population of Austria has grown naturally.

The goal of the trail is to sensitize hikers to the topic of renewable resources and food sources.
