Mehlerhaus

The 400-year-old Mehlerhaus has been restored by the municipality of Tux into a cultural center and small museum. Every Monday and Friday afternoon in summer and every Friday afternoon in winter from 13.00 to 18.00 the Mehlerhaus is open to the public and is always the setting for cultural events.

In Madseit house number 692 stands the Mehlerhaus from the 17th century. The farmhouse was inhabited until 1992, was renovated in 1999 by the municipality of Tux and adapted as a museum.Since then, the rooms are open to museum visitors. However, the Mehlerhaus has also established itself as an event center. Easily visible from the road, it stands invitingly in a large meadow with forest and mountain scenery in the background.
