The South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, located in Bolzano, is home to the famous mummy of Ötzi, the Iceman. Ötzi is an approximately 5,300-year-old natural mummy discovered in 1991 in the Ötztal Alps. The museum displays not only the mummified body but also objects found with him, such as clothing, tools and weapons, offering a fascinating look at life in the Copper Age.
