Summit hike on the big Tragl 2.179m

Participation in hike is possible without registration, only for the bus seat (limited seats) registration is required.

With the 8-seater bus we go on a well-maintained asphalt serpentine road to the Tauplitzalm (1650m) to the highest lake plateau in Central Europe.

From there we hike into the nature reserve "Totes Gebirge".

This mountain range consists of large white limestone slabs. The hike passes many deep holes (sinkholes), this is not without danger, so caution is advised here!

Arrived at the summit, we are in the "Dead Mountains" and can enjoy a magnificent view of the barren rocky landscape.

Ascent and descent are on the same route, on which there are several huts to stop at your convenience.
