Route description:

From here ascent on the forest road (No. 31) to the Mooslehenalm, 1,449 m, then on a trail (No. 33) to the Schied-Hochalm, 1,758 m (not managed). From here, follow the marker pegs across the open terrain through the alpine pastures to the nearby mountain ridge. On this small high plateau, you first head north and thus come to a weather cross right next to the Schiedreitspitz, 2,094 m, which towers up as a single boulder. A somewhat steeper path now leads uphill to a saddle, left below the summit and finally ends, after winding upwards in serpentines, at the summit cross of the Höllwand, 2,287 m - return along the same path.

Alternatively, it is also possible to drive to the Aualm, 1,795 m or to hike there (trail no. 34 or 34A). From the Aualm, a trail leads to the Schied-Hochalm, 1,758 m (not managed). Ascent to the Höllwand, as described above.
