Route description:
Travel by car or hiking cab to Hüttschlag in the district Karteis - continue along the Güterweg Seilsitzberg to the Hallmoosalm, 1,300 m (parking possibility). Follow the forest road straight ahead (trail no. 54) until it turns into an alpine pasture road - first flat along the small stream, then after a bend somewhat steeper uphill out of the forest into the alpine pasture area - shortly before the huts the trail leads in several serpentines somewhat steeper uphill to the two Draugstein alpine pastures, 1,778 m (approx. 1 1/2 h). The left alp seen from below is the "Steinmannhütte", the right one the "Schrambachhütte " - return on the same path.
