Route description:

The three-lake hike starts at the Aualm. Across open alpine pastures the path leads you up to the shimmering Schuhflicker Lake, next to which the mighty limestone peak of the Schuhflicker rises. It is remarkable that the lake has no inflow or outflow, yet the water level remains constant.

Past the summit of the Hochegg you hike along a magnificent ridge trail. Afterwards you will reach first the Small and then the Large Paarsee, both of which are among the most beautiful places in the Grossarl Valley. Here it is easy to switch off and enjoy nature. From the Großer Paarsee you can continue to the 2,030 meter high summit of the Seidleckkopf. Return to the starting point along the same path you came from.
