Pilates is a total body workout designed to improve strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination.


Typical Pilates exercises include a combination of stretching and strengthening exercises designed to strengthen the abdominal muscles, pelvic floor and lower back. Exercises are performed on a mat or specialized Pilates equipment such as the Reformer machine or Cadillac.
