Guided hike from the Zillertal Alps Nature Park

Together with Peter Habeler on his favorite mountain

The undisputed highlight of Peter Habeler's career was probably the first ascent of Mount Everest without artificial oxygen in 1978, together with Reinhold Messner. On this tour, you can now conquer your inner bastard and achieve your own personal Everest! Our tour leads from the Ahornbahn mountain station (2,000 m) to the Karl-von-Edelhütte (2,238 m). From there, we head over grassy ground and scree slopes up to the rocky steep ascent of the Westgrad, which leads to the Ahornspitze (2,976 m), which towers more than 2,300 m above Mayrhofen! From the summit, we can now enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding mountains before enjoying refreshments at the Edelhütte. Book tip: The goal is the summit, Peter Habeler Tyrolia Verlag - available at the Tyrolia bookshop in Mayrhofen!
