Guided mountain tour to the Gaisstein

We’ll meet at the Bürglhütte parking lot. We’ll hike almost the entire mountain route on a narrow trail. Our first destination is the Murnauer Scharte at 1959 m. From here, we’ll already have a wonderful view of the 3000er peaks of the Hohe Tauern. We continue over the Leitenkogel (2,075 m) to the Gaisstein (2,363 m). With a fantastic panoramic view, we can enjoy the drinks and snacks we’ve brought along. Refreshed, we hike back to the Bürglhütte, where we can stop for a bite to eat and wrap up the tour with a nice chat.

Guided hike:

Pickup at the hotel: 8:00 a.m.

Hiking time: approx. 3.5 hours

Moderately difficult mountain hike, approx. 670 meters elevation gain and 7 km

Refreshment stop: at the end of the hike, Bürglhütte

Equipment: Ankle-high hiking boots, backpack with plenty of drinks, sun and rain protection
