Thursday: Snowshoeing. Quaint alpine huts in the Gsies Valley.

A wonderful snowshoe hike to rustic huts with views of the Dolomites.

This tour is ideal for you if you already have some experience with snowshoeing. Start at the end of the valley and head to the Rotmoos parking lot in St. Magdalena, then follow Forest Trail No. 53 to the Acherle Alm. Take a short break at the rustic alpine huts and enjoy the beautiful view of the Pragser Dolomites. Then hike down to the Kradorfer Alm. Finally, take the Eichhörnchenweg back to your starting point. If there is little snow, the tour is done with crampons. Pack a lunch or stop for refreshments along the way.

Meeting point: 9:00 a.m. at the bus stop at the end of the valley in St. Magdalena in the Gsiesertal.
