Hike with Max—historically interesting!

We’ll take the bus to Weidach near Tiefenbach.

From here, a beautiful, shaded path leads us to the Sulzburg—a tranquil spot where we can linger awaits us.

Afterward, we’ll visit the beautiful St. Barbara Church in Tiefenbach. The Graf-Vojkffy Trail begins here and climbs up to the oldest settlement in the Allgäu; passing the smooth wall of Schratten limestone, we soon reach the interesting “Judenkirche” (Jewish Church), a natural rock arch and a geological feature.

The return route takes us through Kreben, offering beautiful views of the Allgäu mountains and Oberstdorf. We’ll head back to the hotel via the small Lumpental valley.
