Rathaushotels Summer Tour 9: The Silberzwerglhütte

Go on a real Rathaushotel power hike to the legendary Silberzwerglhütte in the Ore Mountains. This tour takes you to the small village of Tellerhäuser at 921 m, higher than Oberwiesenthal.

On the way, you will pass the famous Börnerwiesen meadows, where wild orchids and other rare plants bloom from May to July. The way back is via the Christkindweg trail on the Czech side before you are quickly back on the German side of the Ore Mountains.

This tour is ideal for individual hikers, groups, families, families with baby carriages and pensioners. Use the city transport to the Hotel Sachsenbaude or the hiking parking lot at the Bächelhütte to save meters in altitude on the way back. Have fun exploring!
