Speicherkoog Meldorf Bay

The Speicherkoog has developed into a unique bird sanctuary with an incredible amount to discover.

Just behind the dyke, you'll find a kiosk, public toilets, an information stand for the Wadden Sea Nature Park and an adventure playground a little inland behind the parking lot. You can hire beach chairs, go cycling and many windsurfers also feel at home - it's a great shallow-water spot!

Dogs are welcome at the Nordermeldorf bathing area and guided tours of the mudflats run by the mudflat guide association also start from here.
