An exciting hike to the highest mine in Europe at 2,500 - 3,000 m.
Drive from Pfunds to Greit up to the Tscheylücke. From there, the trail leads through the beautiful high valley past the Maria Schnee chapel to a fork in the road. Here the trail branches off to the right in the direction of Platzertal. Always follow the trail markings in the direction of Platzer Alm. Pass the dilapidated buildings of the ore and silver processing plant and continue to the alpine pasture. Here you can see the mine from far away. Follow the path on the right side of the valley to the mine.
