Guided hike up the Tschafon

The Tschafon rises directly above Tiers - a mountain that belongs to the village like no other. A hike with a steady ascent, plenty of peace and quiet and impressive views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Tour description:

We start at the fountain square in Tiers and hike together towards Völsegg. We climb steadily higher via Schönblick and finally reach the panoramic summit of the Tschafon. From there, we take a short detour to the Völseggspitze before stopping off at the cozy Tschafonhütte. The descent takes us via the Wuhnleger and St. Sebastian back to Tiers.

Difficulty: Technically moderate hike, good basic fitness required

Useful information / What to bring

Alpine footwear and clothing suitable for hiking, rain jacket, sun cream and headgear, water bottle;

Eventual tickets for mountain lifts and lunch are not included.

The guest pass for the use of public buses is available free of charge for our guests at reception.

We recommend the 3 in 7 or 5 in 7 Mountain Pass. This allows you to conveniently use the various exit facilities in the area. The mountain pass is available at the tourist office and at the Tiers cable car.
