New construction of the Walmendingerhornbahn in summer 2026 - Bergbahnen Unlimited

After more than 60 years, an era on the Walmendingerhorn will come to an end on 15.03.2026. This lift has accompanied generations of locals and guests and brought them to special experiences on the mountain.

Every farewell is always a new beginning. The modernization on the Walmendingerhorn is all about more comfort, quality and accessibility.

While we are busy building the new Walmendingerhorn cable car, you can still spend beautiful days on the mountain. Various hiking trails, alps and viewpoints are accessible despite the construction site. Simply enjoy the variety of flowers on the Walmendingerhorn on foot this summer.
