Messner Mountain Museum

Two of the famous Messner Mountain Museums, of which there are six in total, are located in our immediate vicinity - the MMM Ripa in Brunico and the MMM Corones on Plan de Corones.

the MMM Ripa in Bruneck and the MMM Corones at Kronplatz - and both are definitely worth a visit.

In the MMM Ripa (Tibetan: ri = mountain; pa = man) at Bruneck Castle, Messner dedicates himself to the different mountain cultures and in the MMM Corones, a distinctive museum building by Zaha Hadid, located on the summit plateau of Kronplatz at 2,275 meters above sea level, the focus is on traditional alpinism, which has had a decisive influence on Reinhold Messner.
