Hiking with Max — To the Kühberg Viewing Platform
Some trails have it all. This one is one of them.
The trail starts right at the hotel—passing the three Loretto chapels, which lie so quietly and picturesquely along the path, as if someone had placed them there just for this moment. A gentle climb takes us to the Moorweiher: forest, water, silence. A great spot for a short break and a deep breath. Then down into the Trettach Valley, along the river through the mountain forest—until the Kühberg reveals its panoramic view. Oberstdorf at your feet, the Allgäu High Alps behind you. You just have to let the moment sink in.
We’ll head back however we like—Max knows the trails.
