Rasin Multipurpose

Via Funivia, 3, Bormio
On the exact day when, 38 years ago, the Valtellina was struck by one of its most serious tragedies, "Acqua Violenta" brings to the stage an intense and touching series of stage readings that recount the 1987 flood through words, emotions and collective memory.
This is not a simple chronological reconstruction, but a narrative and emotional experience that interweaves:
the words of the Minister of Civil Defense Giuseppe Zamberletti,
stories and poems by local authors,
direct testimonies of those who experienced those dramatic days firsthand.
The evening, offered in semi-theatrical form, restores voice to an entire community, digging into emotions, anecdotes and deep meanings, thanks to the performance of actor Carlo Arrigoni and Mattia Cattaneo from the Associazione culturale Architetti delle Parole of Costa Masnaga.
An opportunity to remember, reflect and commemorate together, nearly four decades after that fateful July 18, 1987.
