Torchlight hike through the Breitachklamm gorge

Torchlight hikes require an online ticket.

The regular torchlight hikes take place only in winter—always on Tuesdays and Fridays until around mid- to late February (weather permitting)—and only when the Breitachklamm is open.

There is no on-site ticket sales for the winter torchlight hikes.

As soon as it becomes clear, based on weather and safety conditions, whether the torchlight hike can take place on the respective day, this information will be posted on the Breitachklamm website and the online ticket shop will be activated. Tickets can only be booked online on the day of the event.

No on-site sales.

The decision on whether the event will take place is always announced at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event in a separate box on the homepage of our website. You can find information on the current status on our homepage. Only then will the online shop be activated and the separate link published on the homepage as well.

Tickets cannot be booked via the normal link to the online shop.

Starting and ending points at the Tiefenbach entrance building, approx. 1.5 hours (turnaround point below the upper ticket booth).

If the Breitachklamm is closed, there will be no torchlight hikes.

Bringing dogs is not recommended.

Bus service from the Oberstdorf bus station. Only the regular bus runs—special trips are not offered.
