Opened in June 2023, the Erlebnis-Hus is located directly on the dike and marks the end of the Erlebnis-Promenade in the Bad district of St. Peter-Ording. Here, you can discover and enjoy a wide variety of activities both inside the building and in the spacious outdoor area.
On the first floor of the Erlebnis-Hus, you’ll find the entrance to the Spiele-Hus. The indoor playground spans two floors. The 300-square-meter space is equipped with, among other things, an interactive sports wall, a climbing maze, and a cooking and baking station.
On the second floor of the Erlebnis-Hus is our Daddel-Hus. Here you can enjoy table tennis, pool, and air hockey. The Daddel-Hus’s hours of operation follow those of the Spiele-Hus.
Another highlight for young and old alike is the slide, which is more than 47 meters long. From a height of 20 meters, you can reach the Erlebnis-Hus outdoor playground in a matter of seconds from the top observation deck. The outdoor area offers plenty of space to explore and run around. Whether it’s basketball hoops, a climbing frame, a sandbox, or a skate park—there’s something for everyone here.
You can reach some of the floors via indoor and outdoor staircases. The elevator takes you up to the observation deck on the fourth floor, where you’ll enjoy a phenomenal view of the sea, the beach, St. Peter-Ording, and the surrounding area.
Bus stops are just a few minutes’ walk from the Erlebnis-Hus, and bike racks are located right next to the building. Alternatively, you can park your car in the Strandklinik parking lot. Please note that this parking lot is subject to a fee.
