Amtsgerichtsplatz 1, Oppenheim
England’s most famous female author left behind a collection of sheet music comprising over 600 works. This collection offers a wonderful insight into which composers were known and performed in Regency England—and which were not.
Petra Fluhr (vocals, oboe) and Gernot Blume (harp) will perform selected works from Jane Austen’s collection and shed light on the role of music in Regency society.
Admission is €20; tickets are available at the box office or can be reserved by emailing kartenreservierung@gmx.de.
