The Tiebel Springs

It is a mystical place - a unique natural spectacle. It gurgles and splashes, it rushes and bubbles. Narrow paths wind their way up through the woods to the springs. Only a few years ago, the remains of a few mills could be seen here, along the small streams. These have now disappeared. On its three-hour journey to Lake Ossiach, the Tiebel once powered more than 100 mills, factories and plants. Lovingly carpentered round wooden footbridges, next to the path an old millstone, ideal for a picnic, further up a wooden table with a bench, next to it a moss-covered wooden fountain, in which the tired hiker can wonderfully cool his drink. But what for? Because the water alone is a pleasure - better than the best champagne in the world. And this water has it all. Refreshing, crystal clear and flawless like a diamond. Drinking water of the very highest quality that residents can enjoy along the Tiebel all the way down to Feldkirchen. What a luxury nowadays! Up here you can relax and let your thoughts run free. The best thing is to hike and feel the Tiebel springs yourself. One cannot describe such a wonderful place adequately enough.
