At sunrise on the Kanisfluh (2044m)

The local mountain of Au is a popular and beautiful vantage point. The view is particularly impressive when the sun rises blood-red on the horizon. From Au, we take our own car to the parking lot below the Alpe Öberle. From there, we hike past the Edelweißhütte on a narrow path to the Kanisfluh, where words are superfluous when the first rays of sunlight illuminate the surrounding peaks. Return - same route!

Difference in altitude: 500 m, walking time approx. 2 hours on the ascent

Registration: by 16:00 the day before at the tourist office; the exact start time between 03:30 and 05:00 will also be announced here!

Equipment: Ankle-high hiking boots with treaded soles, functional clothing, wind and rain protection, rucksack, water bottle, provisions, sun protection, good health and the necessary fitness are required. When used correctly, hiking poles make the ascent and descent much easier and are easy on the joints. Don't forget your binoculars and camera. STIRNLAMPE or flashlight required!
