Heath loop "Misselhorner Heide" - the classic of the southern heath

The Misselhorn Heath is one of the most impressive heathland areas in the Südheide Nature Park and is a real highlight for hikers.

On a circular tour of around 5-7 km, you hike through open heathland, past ancient juniper bushes and idyllic ponds. The landscape has a unique atmosphere, especially in the morning and evening hours - perfect for enjoying nature and photography.

The route is easy to walk and ideal for a relaxed half-day tour. During the heather blossom in late summer, the area is transformed into an impressive sea of purple flowers.
